From my certainty that there aren’t any other past lives
There’s just this one and surely one is enough?

So we took her to a hypnotist and he swung the watch
Her eyes grew heavy and then it wouldn’t stop
Right up to where it ended then started again
It was that that frightened me - that frightened me!
Not the dying and floating but the kicking and screaming into life
Into another past life

So then I went under to see about me
Did I used to be weaver? Did I ever go to sea?
But all that I remembered was that I used to climb trees

To the seaside, I remember for a day out

We were on a coach

We were on a flatbed on the motorway to Wales
I was running back and got a handful of raisins
Raisins? Who wants raisins?

No dying, no floating, no kicking, no screaming
Just a past life, another past life
